Protecting Your Identity
Your safety and privacy are paramount. Section 121 of the Family Law Act prohibits the publication of details that identify parties in family law proceedings. Here is how we ensure your anonymity.
Pseudonyms
Never use real names. We automatically assign pseudonyms to all submissions, but you should also ensure you do not inadvertently include identifying names in your story.
Remove Specific Details
Avoid specific dates of birth, exact addresses, or names of schools and workplaces. Generalise locations (e.g., "Sydney" instead of "Newtown").
Secure Submission
Your connection to this site is encrypted. We do not store your IP address with your public story submission.
Human Moderation
Every story is reviewed by a human moderator before being published to ensure it complies with Section 121 and protects your anonymity.
